Personal music updates!

Welcome back! ꒰๑˃꒵˂꒱◞ ♪⋆ฺ。

Today I'm going to talk again about music - this time on a more personal level!
As some of you might already know I am active as a singer/songwriter in some musical projects.

Somehow these projects also reflect the diversity of my own taste in music. I love metal and classical music, but also have a big soft spot for jazz and funk, acapella singing and many more. People love to put others into categories and so it has happened to me that people reacted surprised when they found out "Oh, she does listen to something else but metal".

Shocking, right?
Let me show you a bit of this musical diversity I'm talking about:

My band Daedric Tales released a new single (which is available as a FREE download, so go on, help yourselves!) called 'Sleepers Awake' just a couple of days ago.

This single is the first of the new song material that we have been working on. We're planning to release an EP and album soon, both of them are already sketched out and in the making.

To help the band realize these projects, we currently have a crowdfunding campaign running, so if you like our music, please show your support by sharing the link or even backing us by getting one of the awesome perks on our page ♪

When my flatmate Mia moved in with me last October we discovered that both of us play instruments, are passionate about music and we even found similarities in our taste of music! We totally connect on the jazz/funk level. It's great to find people who are really into this kind of music, because I feel that it isn't too common for our age group. (I somehow only know people from 45 years old and upwards who listen to jazz xD)

So we thought: "Hey, both of us are musicians, let's try out a thing or two" and we basically winged a song in a few days. And immediately went to perform it on a big stage. And this is how our duo was born - whoops!

Curious? Let me introduce you to 'Velvetree' !

This is a video of our very first live performance! We were really excited, but gladly it all went quite well. And yesssssss, our stage outfits are -  of course - lolita fashion :P

Find us on our brand new Facebook page or on YouTube - hopefully with more updates soon!
That's all news for now - I hope there are some music-loving people who read this and maybe give these projects a listen or two ♪ it would mean a lot!

Thank you anyways for reading, I'll be pestering you writing again soon!

  1. Sometimes I think about if people on the subway could hear the music from my headphones (no one ever complained tho) and if they were confused with Disturbed and Lacrimas Profundere one minute and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and Anime Openings the next. XD
