Good day to all of you!
Today I'm in a superb mood! One of my dream dresses is on its way to me & I just can't wait to finally hold it in my arms and drool over it non-stop...
I love those designs Innocent World produces: romantic, yet very elegant at the same time <3
And after this dress had been snatched away from me once before I was just so happy when I heard that it would finally be mine this time! Excited! :D
Today's challenge topic: food <3
01. I adore Japanese cuisine; especially Maki (Futo Maki are the best!) and Sushi, Miso soup, Udon, everything including Tofu, Natto... *never-ending-list*
02. Indian food, especially vegetable curry of all sorts and samosas. Mhhhhm.
03. Vegan food. Even though I'm pescetarian I just looove vegan stuff. Too delicious.
04. Seafood. All of it. Mussels, shrimps, eel and lots of fish.
05. Bread. I have a soft spot for bread in my heart. Really good, fresh one I like to eat plain.
06. Vegetables all the way. Broccoli, spinach, leeks, green beans, chickpeas, carrots, lentils ... *never-ending-list*
07. Fruits. I'm such a fruit addict. Special love for bananas, apples and berries.
08. Breakfasty stuff. My favourite meal of the day is breakfast. There are so many great opportunities from sweet to savory; From pancakes to omlette ... you can have everything!
09. Sweets from all over the world. I like simple cakes, but also lots of other desserts. Like macarons, tartelettes, sweet pies, donuts, crème brulée, Belgian waffles, crèpes, roll cake ... etc.
10. Homemade soups. There's nothing better in winter than some hot, tasty soup. Carrot soup, tomato soup, pumpkin soup, potato soup, garlic soup, onion soup....
As you probably noticed, I'm quite the foodie ^^
I just enjoy good food very much and even though I have a sweet tooth, I adore healthy food equally.
Thank you for reading & see you tomorrow!
Bye! :)

Day 3 – 10 things you hate in lolita
Hello there, hope you're having a good day!
I'm still in my PJs and it's already noon... but at least I haven't been lazy!
Spent my morning doing obligatory stuff like laundry and washing the dishes - nothing too exciting yet.
I've got a huge to-do-list for today though; I've got to study for a bunch of exams, clean my room, do the groceries, go to an oboe rehearsal... all in all it's going to be a busy day, but probably not very interesting x'D
Let's start with today's challenge then~
01. I really dislike what Lolita does and has done to my finances. If we're being honest everything is just damn expensive and we're all fools to buy stuff for those kind of prices; but we do it anyway ^^;
02. Unneccessary bitching in communities, especially online. We should really try to remind ourselves to rather support each other than to harm one another. Luckily I feel that the Austrian Lolita community is more or less drama-free; still what you see going on online is just ridiculous.
03. Deflating petticoats. Why the hell do you do this to us?
04. The lack of Lolita stores in Europe. It would be so nice to just walk into a store and be able to buy stuff in real-life than mainly online.
05. The pain of having to pay horrendous extra sums if you're beloved purchase gets stuck in costums.
06. Long wanted items you ordered online which are just being snatched away in front of your very nose for multiple times.
07. The fact that you have to worry about how to wash a ~300€ brand piece while you don't have to think twice about throwing your Bodyline into the washing machine.
08. The lack of safe storage spaces for your parasol. Be it at university or the office, I've always had problems with my parasol falling down if I try to lean it onto something else. Gets really old with time.
09. Having your period while wearing Lolita.
10. Differing shoe sizes. There are just shoes which have a larger or smaller fit depending on their design; Unlickily it's never mentioned on the sites if they do run big or small for their size. So ordering online is basically guessing and hoping for the best.
That's about it I guess ^^
Even though there are some things in Lolita that could drive you mad sometimes, the love for it just makes it all worth again and again.
In the final months of 2013 I kind of fell back in love with Lolita all over again after not wearing it too often for a year or so. After the IW Tea Party in Vienna my old love and inspiration for creating lolita outfits came back with a bang and I'm really glad about that :)
I'll better get going now, there are lots of things waiting to be done !
Thank you for reading & have a productive day!

Day 2 – 10 things you love in lolita
Good evening everyone!
Today is Sunday and I was able to wear Lolita for meeting up with my band members from Desire .
I'm a big Emily Temple Cute fan and one of my favourite dresses of theirs is the "Alice Tea Party" JSK which I wore today!
On to today's challenge topic!
01. To feel as if you just descended from another planet. A frilly one of course.
02. The shape of the clothes. Full, poofy and all romantic.
03. The cuteness. In my opinion nothing is fuller of cutesiness than dresses with lots of frills, lace and adorable prints on them.
04. Spending time with other Lolitas and of course, making friends :)
It's just so nice to have some buddies with whom you can babble freely about all things Lolita.
05. All the different sorts of things to wear on your head! All the bows! Hats! Bonnets! Wigs!
06. Second hand shopping. If it weren't for second hand stuff my closet would probably be all empty.
07. Bags of all shapes and sizes. Gone are the days of boring bags in similar shape; in Lolita you can literally get it in whatever shape you desire, no matter if star, heart, book, ribbon, candy, bear, horse, bunny....etc.
08. I'm totally addicted to well written Lolita blogs, as well as interesting vlogs. Sometimes I just spend my time watching Lolita themed channels on YT.
09. Crazy things you stumble across when you're interested in Lolita related stuff. Like the movie 'Kamikaze Girls' which I adore to bits!
10. Lolita fashion magazines. Every time I have the opportunity to grab one of them, I do. I could spend hours drooling over beautiful coordinates and sometimes I imagine what I'd buy if I had all the moneyz x'D
Ah...all the Lolita joy...
thinking about all the beautiful stuff makes me love Lolita even more!
Thanks for reading & see you tomorrow :)

Day 1 – 10 things about your lolita bubble
It feels a bit funny to start a Lolita challenge on the most unglamourous day of all - I've just been working today and because I've been way too lazy to get up on time in the morning I just snatched the first clothes I could find and put them on. Because sometimes I just don't care :P
Alrighty, let's get this baby started!
01. I recently realized that I've been into Lolita fashion for 7 years now (that's a hell of a long time!) Wearing it "successfully" for about 6 years now I'd say.
02. I've already had two Lolita flatmates, which can be really practical (I can always run over to Sylvia in case of not knowing what to coordinate xD and sometimes we inspire each other on what to wear <3)
03. I have quite a big collection of Lolita clothing (20 dresses and 10 skirts to date); it just kept growing over the years - although I'm still nowhere near satisfied with it.
04. I can't choose a favourite style. I do especially love Gothic Lolita, aswell as Bittersweet coordinates, but I also have a knack for Classic, Sailor, Country and some forms of Sweet Lolita.
05. I recently discovered my love for OTKs.
06. I like to mix some other styling influences into lolita, for instance mori girl or vintagy stuff.
07. When I was in school I wore Lolita almost every day. One teacher even called me "little hat" because I was mostly wearing tiny top hats with my outfits.
08. In summer I always work at a hospital and never wear lolita to work because we have no air conditioning in the office and I'd probably die of the boiling heat.
09. I'm literally obsessed with headgear. I never leave the house without an accessory stuck to my head - may it be bow, flower, bonnet, beret or hat.
10. At school I even had a Lolita friend. It was so awesome to meet up in the breaks and talk about Lolita; after we graduated we spent a holiday together in Japan (and shopped the shit out of hell xD)
That's it for today!
Hope you enjoyed reading ! :)

Newsflash 1.0
Heya!
Once I'm here already, I figured why not throw out another post...
I know it's already out of season by now - but I anyways wanted to post the two vlogs I filmed during Christmas time for my YT channel purplecatbaguette .
...
What else have I been up to recently?
During the past few months I've been playing several live gigs with my band Daedric Tales and finished working on the first mini-release of my other band Desire, which is going to be released soon. (I also put up a new facebook page for Desire, check it out if you like ;))
In autumn I changed university studies and currently I'm studying Maths (YES Maths, this is not a typo xD) and preparing for an entrance exam at an fh.
I've totally fallen in love with Lolita fashion again.
For a while I didn't wear it too much, because my petticoat had deflated and I was missing some other items that would have been handy for coordinating (I somehow find it really hard to acquire nice blouses and tops which go well with Lolita.)
However in the course of the last year my closet gained a few basic items that are pretty nice to combine with Lolita and I wanted to wear it more often again.
With the beginning of the new year I also got a new skirt from Emily Temple Cute and another headbow from Angelic Pretty, aswell as... a petticoat :D
So whoopie! The fashion fun can begin now once again!
I haven't been photographing as much recently. I still have tons and tons of polaroids to scan though (and scanning polaroids is a pain in the butt, so it won't happen anytime soon I assume xD)
Another fairly new developed passion of mine: I listen to Death Metal
I used to despise any sort of growling a few years ago... and now under the influence of Metal festivals and my band members from Daedric my musical taste has been taken to the next level x'D
I guess these are all the shocking news for now :P
Have a good night or day, wherever you are!
Thanks for reading!
Lights they blind me
Whoa... first of all I have to apologize for taking so incredibly long with reviving this blog from the dead xD
As I had promised, here are finally new pictures!
This film I started shooting during my holiday in Japan around Christmas 2012 and New Year 2013!
Spending time with friends, enjoying the beautiful nature...
The last few pictures are from various parties at friends' places and at my place and were shot between March and April 2013.
Enjoy!
This camera's flash is a bit unpredictable, sometimes it exposes the pictures way too much and sometimes it just doesn't really lighten up anything at all.
But nevertheless, memories are memories, right?
No matter how they may look on film.
What kind of equipment did I use?
Camera: Fisheye No. 1 (Hello Kitty Edition)
Film: 35mm, dm's Paradies Universalfilm, ISO 200.
Thank you for reading !
See you soon! :)
