Wie in den guten alten Zeiten

Hej everyone!

Yesterday afternoon another Daedric Tales rehearsal took place and there was a lot to do!
We had lots of parcels to unpack, because a new mixer and other equipment we had ordered had arrived!

...so the whole studio looked like a huge mess - empty cardboard boxes, bubble wrap and plastic lying around everywhere!

And that was just not only chaos,
no - this was a perfect scenery for the usual Daedric Tales madness to take place!

See for yourself...

Everything began with Yra hiding in one of the boxes!
Here he looks like a dinosaur baby which just broke out of his shell, hahah.

Yra: 'Come on! Grab your instruments and let's sit in the box!'

Matze got wrapped up in bubble wrap and was being punched by Daniel and Alex while Yra kept observing the operation 'torturing Matze' closely xD

Yra and Matze found pieces of polystyrene and turned them into cup holders which they can use for festivals. Another artistic pose and voilà !

...

As you can see it never gets boring with Daedric Tales around! ;)

(Seriously, if I'd take a picture every time some madness is going on I think I'd be able to fill up a trizillion albums in a few months xD)

But this means - you will be able to enjoy DT madness first hand!

What kind of equipment did I use?

Von kühler Quelle bis warmer Schwelle

...Oh!

Just stumbled over some photo material I had actually scanned already last year,

but hadn't posted any of it, so I totally forgot about its existence.

The following film has been shot during spring and summer 2012.

I remember that when I went to pick up my then newly developed films from the lab I felt super excited and the anticipation almost killed me...

And then the first one I had a look at was the black&white film (I posted that one earlier in (Hasenherz und Rabenauge)) and it hadn't turned out at all how I had been expecting and my mood rushed downwards immediately.

This one here was the second film I got that day and it also didn't fulfill my expectations entirely. But now I'm more and more happy about the moments I managed to capture!

What kind of equipment did I use?

Camera: Lomography's Diana F+ in the special edition 'Glow'.

Film120 mm, Lomography's Color Negative ISO 400.

...

I'll have some new stuff to share!

Got my films for my Fuji Instax mini 7s and already started shooting! :D

Thank you for reading! :)

'Oh, heavy-hearted am I...'

...  I'm back again !

And In high spirits (yes, despite the gloomy title - this is an hommage to today's jingle: Amberian Dawn's 'River of Tuoni' ) !

Today I went to a Gothic Lolita meet-up in Vienna, so I thought I'd share some pictures of my outfit !

Outfit rundown:

Bonnet: Metamorphose temps de fille
Dress: Metamorphose temps de fille
Cardigan: unknown
Tights: Falke
Shoes: Bodyline
Accessories: Claire's, FOREVER21, various

I looove the ruffled detail in the front !

A closer look on the roses & the butterfly pin on the bonnet :)

Today I wore circle lenses aswell ! These are the Super Pinky series in colour Brown.
I was surprised how well my eyes coped with the lenses. They weren't uncomfortable or drying my eyes out at all (they usually do) and I wore them all day long :)

...

Me with my gorgeous friend Lena ! <3
(Tell me if you want me to take the pics down, I just thought you looked so great today so I posted them here :D)
...

This dress is one of my favourite ones. I adore the colour, the ruffles, the collar ...
and just everything else about it ;)
So I was pretty happy about the chance to wear it to a meet-up !

Only my bonnet was giving me a hard time, never remaining in its place, sliding around on my head or twisting into various directions ...nevertheless it's pretty ;)
...

That's it !

I'd like to write 'Have a pleasant Sunday evening everyone,' but here it's already 00:17, so I guess wishing you a 'Good night' is more appropriate hahah :)

Good night then !

Thank you for reading !

Hasenherz und Rabenauge

Heja people :)

It has been another while since I've stopped by!

As you might be able to tell I've been seriously lazy with blogging ...

When I started this blog I promised to share all the fails and victories of bakery & photography with you guys.
So today we're facing a black & white semi-fail.

Here we go!

What I love about analogue photography is the excitement when you hold a folder of freshly developed pictures in your hands and it feels like unwrapping christmas presents - you never know what might be awaiting you !

Good surprises, bad surprises ...?

When I got my second black & white film and opened it with anticipation, I have to confess that as I scanned through the pictures my heart dropped and so did my mood :(

I took lots of pictures of my friends and sometimes I can't even tell who's on the picture because the whole film is totally overexposed.

But oh well, things like these happen.
Let's hope the next black & white ones turn out better :)

What kind of equipment did I use?

Camera: Lomography's Diana F+ in the special edition 'Glow'.

Film: 120 mm, Lomography's Black & White Negative, ISO 100.

...

I have another Diana F+ film in store, but it shall be saved for the next post ;)

Hope you enjoyed those less enjoyable pictures, haha !

Thank you for reading

Through not only rose-tinted spectacles

Long time no blog update !

But there's some good news: I've got a scanner again ! (YAY :D)

My brother was so sweet to give me one as a present for my birthday !!!

So beware, I'm able to picspam this blog to my liking again !!! >:D

Just after I got my new dear scanner, I ran out and about to get some of my films developed.

Therefore on today's menu there is a fisheye in colour.

Enjoy ! ;)

As I look through those pictures I've come to realize that it took me almost 5 months to finish shooting this film.

It's just true that if you have a lot of sunlight your pictures turn out absolutely magnificent.
And I have the habit of wanting to shoot on special occasions, so sometimes I have to wait forever if the weather is behaving inconvenient and there are no occasions coming up haha ;)

But I'm glad to have captured so many great moments with my friends that I enjoyed.
And there are even 2 birthdays caught on film, super cool !

And of course - how could it be otherwise - lots of pictures of food and drinks :)

What kind of equipment did I use ?

Camera: Lomography's Fisheye No. 1, Hello Kitty Special Edition.

Film: 35 mm, dm's Paradies Universalfilm, ISO 200.

...

I've got two more developed sets of photographs that are stored in my drawer, waiting to be scanned - as always I'll be honestly sharing my glory and failure in analogue photography

- so stay tuned ! :)

...

Now before I leave again, I have to serve a little bit of dessert:

Two slices of Impossible Polaroid.
