Lolita Blog Carnival - Frillies You Find Inspirational

Hello!

It's time for another LBC post - this time it is about people who inspire me in lolita fashion!

I mostly look to Instagram and tumblr for inspiration and enjoy following a ton of lolitas from all over the world! Instagram is probably the app I use most in general - what Instagram and twitter are to me is like reading a newspaper to other people (ノ^∇^)

During breakfast I already like to browse through my feed~

But who are the people whose coordinates and styles I like best?

Here's my selection for this post:

Lolita Blog Carnival - What Would You Change About Your Wardrobe

Welcome back to another LBC post!

This week I'm going to talk about what I would change about my wardrobe!

I have been part of lolita fashion for about 9 years now and  have thus hoarded a good amount of clothes so far. As I like a wide range of styles my wardrobe is not very cohesive, yet there are certain themes that occur quite frequently (- for instance biscuits!)

Lolita Blog Carnival - Lolita New Year's Resolutions

Hello again,

First let's take a look back on old resolutions that I had made in the past years!

In 2015 my goals for lolita fashion were more defined:
Don't buy too many main pieces, get more blouses and accessories...

Lolita Blog Carnival - What keeps you involved in lolita?

Hello again!
I've been so busy I had hardly time for anything! ( *∵* )

But I've been wanting to share some of the stuff I have been up to for quite a while, so hopefully I'll be posting more regularly again 。(*^▽^*)ゞ

So first off I wanted to take part in this Lolita Blog Carnival; a bit of an easier way to get back into blogging I guess!

This week's subject was: "What keeps you involved in lolita?"

Lolita Blog Carnival - What do you like best about your wardrobe?

Hello again
and oh, it's March already! (゜▽゜;)

...once again time seems to fly by, doesn't it?
Currently I am busy with exam preparations (again) -  so actually I have to blame the lack of recent entries on my laziness throughout  85% of February and on my busy schedule (which has hit me full in the face after the holidays had ended, ugh and I immediately got a cold).

So, it's time for another Lolita Blog Carnival !
I thought this topic was fun and wanted to give it a go ⋆

Lolita Blog Carnival - What Changes You Will Make For Your Wardrobe In The New Year

Hello again! ʕ·ᴥ· ʔ

Oh my, I've been busy as hell.
I had 7 exams only in November and now there are still three more coming up before the Christmas holidays. Around the end of November I felt entirely exhausted but now I feel like my motivation is creeping upwards again. My energy would have been on the rise too, if it wouldn't have been for lab week this past week and therefore having to get up at 4:30 am... ( = . =)

On to this week's topic of LBC!

Lolita Blog Carnival - 3 Favourite Brands and Why (Japanese, Taobao, Indie)

Hello there! (人・㉨・)♡

I had this post ready all week and then, amongst the happenings of the last few days, forgot to post it...
Well, I'm a bit late to the party, but:
It's time again for another Lolita Blog Carnival entry!

This week's topic is:

Lolita Blog Carnival - If you could run a Japanese brand for a day, what types of designs would you push?

Welcome to my first Lolita Blog Carnival entry!
I'm glad to participate, this way I can get new ideas and topics to share here.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/lolitablogcarnival/

So, onto the topic of this week's Lolita Blog Carnival:
"If you could run a Japanese brand for a day, what types of designs would you push?"

Babushkas
There are already so many prints showcasing cats and bunnies, but not too many babushka prints yet! I could imagine a more classical or even gothic babushka print, by using more jewel tones or dark shades.

Already existing examples by Emily Temple Cute and Lief

One more shameless Harry Potter inspired print
Give me Hogwarts castle during christmas time, the feast in the great hall or even scenes like the basilisk in the Chamber of Secrets; I'd take them all.

Fanplusfriend already made a good example.

♥ Bringing on the vintage spirit
They fit well with classic and likewise otome style - hats ranging from straw hats or cloche hats to  birdcage headpieces. Those are accessories which would bring some freshness to the headgear department instead of just bringing out another headbow.

Go crazy with bags
Bags in more crazy shapes! For instance I'd love to see an owl bag matching to the HP inspired print or a babushka/ matryoshka shaped bag to its matching main piece. Maybe a bag in the shape of a pirate ship to match pirate lolita? Or in a skull shape? I have a bat bag which I love to bits!

Bat bags from titina store on etsy

I hope you enjoyed reading this entry! ( ᐛ )و
