It's time for another LBC post - this time it is about people who inspire me in lolita fashion!
I mostly look to Instagram and tumblr for inspiration and enjoy following a ton of lolitas from all over the world! Instagram is probably the app I use most in general - what Instagram and twitter are to me is like reading a newspaper to other people (ノ^∇^)
During breakfast I already like to browse through my feed~
But who are the people whose coordinates and styles I like best?
This week I'm going to talk about what I would change about my wardrobe!
I have been part of lolita fashion for about 9 years now and have thus hoarded a good amount of clothes so far. As I like a wide range of styles my wardrobe is not very cohesive, yet there are certain themes that occur quite frequently (- for instance biscuits!)
Today I'm going to talk again about music - this time on a more personal level!
As some of you might already know I am active as a singer/songwriter in some musical projects.
Somehow these projects also reflect the diversity of my own taste in music. I love metal and classical music, but also have a big soft spot for jazz and funk, acapella singing and many more. People love to put others into categories and so it has happened to me that people reacted surprised when they found out "Oh, she does listen to something else but metal".
Shocking, right?
Let me show you a bit of this musical diversity I'm talking about:
I've been absent for a bit - ironically the most stressful phase of the semester started today...
Now I really have to take care of my stress levels and make sure that I relax enough while staying on top of my duties for college - I'm trying my best.
I'm a good bit late in posting about this event , but as always - my motto is "better late than never" xD
So in February (yes, February) a small tea party took place in the museum of art history in Vienna.
Here are some outfits I wore "recently"... starting from January xD
This one I wore to a Mini-Meet Up in January. I was in the mood for a bit of old-school.
I haven't been updating regularly, so what have I been up to?
February was split into being a lazy book-devouring bum and hard core studying for exams. Throughout March I basically never stopped studying, so there's not too much to tell :')
I got some exciting things in the mail though! (Г・ω・)г
Back in October already I had ordered a short coat and beret from Dear Celine. I really like their blouses so I wanted to give that coat a go. They finally arrived in February!
...once again time seems to fly by, doesn't it?
Currently I am busy with exam preparations (again) - so actually I have to blame the lack of recent entries on my laziness throughout 85% of February and on my busy schedule (which has hit me full in the face after the holidays had ended, ugh and I immediately got a cold).
So, it's time for another Lolita Blog Carnival !
I thought this topic was fun and wanted to give it a go ⋆
So I filmed a wardrobe video a couple of days ago but was a bit delayed by exams and some annoying thumbnail-related issues on YouTube :P
Here you go:
Sadly the dark gray/black pieces have been deprived of all of their textures or details on camera :(
I feel pretty content about my wardrobe and despite my never-ending thirst for main pieces I'm hoping to get new shoes and blouses this year.
Right now I'm enjoying the semester break and have submerged into intense phases of reading a series of books :)
I have started reading Trudi Canavan's Black Magician Trilogy and have reached the third book so far.
Later this week a friend of mine from college is hosting a "Harry Potter Marathon" where a group of people from college will gather at her place in attempt to watch all of the HP movies in two days...
That will be great fun for sure :D
Have a great week
& thank you for reading ʕ/ ·ᴥ·ʔ/
Oh my, I've been busy as hell.
I had 7 exams only in November and now there are still three more coming up before the Christmas holidays. Around the end of November I felt entirely exhausted but now I feel like my motivation is creeping upwards again. My energy would have been on the rise too, if it wouldn't have been for lab week this past week and therefore having to get up at 4:30 am... ( = . =)
On to this week's topic of LBC! "What Changes You Will Make For Your Wardrobe In The New Year"
I had this post ready all week and then, amongst the happenings of the last few days, forgot to post it...
Well, I'm a bit late to the party, but:
It's time again for another Lolita Blog Carnival entry!
This week's topic is: "3 Favourite Brands and Why (Japanese, Taobao, Indie)"
On the 17th of October I attended the Metamorphose Tea Party in Vienna!
On Saturday the general admission started at 1 pm at the Schick Hotel Stefanie.
I enjoyed myself so much! So many pretty lolitas to look at and wonderful outfits for the eyes to feast on. ₍₍ ◝( ゚∀ ゚ )◟ ⁾⁾
The stalls were nice and the food was as great as I remembered it!
My new flatmate Mia had a VIP ticket and when I arrived she had already bought some stuff at the stalls!
Picture time! Here's what I wore to the tea party:
On 2nd of September I celebrated my birthday with a bunch of friends!
It was so much fun, I think this was the best birthday I've had so far.
In order to give more people the chance to hang out together (and because I wanted to have tea and beer on the same day hehe :P) I held two parties that day.
In the afternoon we went to the Café "Little Britain". I love it so much there, it's just comfortable, the service personell is so nice and of course food and drinks are delicious. I also adore the interior of the café, it has such a cute style. Many of my friends liked it very much aswell, I'm glad about that.
So we indulged ourselves just like we should!
Before the last LBC post I had taken a bit of a break from blogging, so actually it's time to say: "Long time no see!"
I've reworked the design of my blog a bit in the hope to make it easier and more comfortable to read - hopefully I've achieved that; I'm quite content with it so far.
Finally I'm managing to finish this! ...how do people say? "Better late than never." :P
On the second day of the GLTP HamburgDani and I got ready and took off directly to the city hall after taking some pictures.
